$254,745 in funding for Canada Summer Jobs 2010

Tweed, MP for Brandon-Souris announced the approval of $254,745 in
funding for the Canada Summer Jobs 2010 Program for Brandon-Souris.
“Our
Government has launched Canada Summer Jobs 2010 to help employers create
additional positions for our youth,” said Tweed. “Employers in
Brandon-Souris eligible for this program are encouraged to get involved
and help create employment opportunities for young Canadians.”
The Canada Summer Jobs
Program is a wage subsidy program that enables public, private, and
not-for-profit employers to create career-related summer jobs for
students. These jobs assist young Canadians in gaining valuable
work experience.
Interested employers can apply for this program between February 1 and
