Tweed visits Oak Lake for AED presentation

Merv Tweed, MP for Brandon-Souris made a visit to Oak Lake recently
to present the community with an AED for use in the Oak Lake Arena.
A few local officials and citizens were on hand for the presentation.

Tweed, MP for Brandon-Souris was delighted to meet with community
members in Oak Lake to present them with an Automated External
Defibrillator (AED).
Tweed presented the Oak
Lake Recreation Center with the AED purchased from the proceeds of the
First Annual Merv Tweed Charity Golf Tournament held this past summer at
the Oak Island Golf Course.
“There is a need for every
community to have an AED available and accessible to them,” said Tweed.
“Placing it in the busiest centre in Oak Lake just makes sense.”
