Housing for Brandon - May 2, 2008 BRANDON - May 2, 2008 - Merv Tweed, MP for Brandon-Souris, was pleased to join with the Province of Manitoba and the City of Brandon to announce an affordable housing strategy that allocates a shared $9.4 million to build, renovate or repair 246 housing units in Brandon. “The Government of Canada is delivering on our commitment to create affordable housing in Manitoba,” said Tweed. “Our Government is committed to provide 60% of the funding to the Province’s HOMEWorks program and is happy to be a partner to address this critical need in the City of Brandon. |
