Elkhorn Economic Development team

Merv made a visit to Oak Lake recently to present the community with an AED for use in the Oak Lake Arena.  A few local officials and citizens were on hand for the presentation.

Merv attended the Brandon University Micro Analytical Facility Open House & Ribbon Cutting Ceremony. The RM of Whitewater will move forward with their arena renovations thanks to the Recreational Infrastructure Canada (RInC) program. Merv announced federal funding for the project that will provide energy savings for the Minto Recreation Centre.  Funding of $5,000 will be used for the upgrade of the facility’s insulation and more efficient lighting system.

Merv attended and brought greetings at the Official campaign launch & major private sector funding announcement  for the Virden Regional Multi-Purpose Recreation Facility Project.
    

Merv attended the Grand Opening of the Clipperdome, (Mac Robinson Community Centre in Cartwright.



Merv brought greetings and also presented the Committee members(Kim Kemp & Boyd Mullin) with a Defibrillator for the new facility
